The pictures below show pigeon droppings and guano that has accumulated inside a church tower over about 18 years.

Proofing to a single ventilation slot in the spire had been removed and not replaced allowing the pigeons to roost and nest on the bells, the bell frames and each of two floors below. The level of droppings posed a health hazard to anyone entering the area and safe waste clearance is required to maintain the bells

We remove the wastes under strict safety conditions to protect both ourselves, the clients and their staff and the general public.

Air filtration systems re-used during clearance and all wastes re-treated before removal to official waste disposal sites. The client is supplied with waste transfer documentation,

Bird waste removal, clearance and disposal is an important part of bird proofing work.

The droppings that pigeons gulls and other birds produce are the unpleasant and health endangering side of birds .

When pigeons are left undisturbed to use the roof spaces inside buildings as roosting sites, their droppings accumulate to cause serious problems for those people using the properties.

The droppings contain many desease carrying micro -organisms which may cause ornithosis, psittacosis, histoplasmosis, salmonellosis and other serious diseases

We have developed safe removal and clearance practices to firstly treat and steralise the wastes using a powerful biocide which will kill the bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa and riettsiales (including Chlamydia, E. Coli0157, Salmonella, Listeria, Cryptococcus and others) commonly associated with pigeons, starlings, gulls and other pest birds.

Disposal of the bird droppings are at official waste disposal sites licensed to take such wastes
